Prospective Students, Fall 20043 credits; Tuesdays 3-3:50 p and Thursdays 3-4:50 pProspective Students FAQ New to LINC and got questions? Your answers may be here! In a few words, students in LINC work in teams on meaningful projects with the community. As part of the class, students meet twice a week, once as a large group with all sections (Tuesdays) and once as individual sections (Thursdays). Project Assistants (PAs) help guide students in developing and implementing their project throughout the semester, meeting with them every Thursday. To register for LINC for Fall 2004, decide in which project you are most interested by looking at the Projects information and enroll in the appropriate section. If you would like more information on ongoing projects this semester, please feel free to email the PA's listed on the projects page or look at Current Student Teams section. Alternatively, try to come to our poster session on Thursday, 5/1/03 3-4p, location TBA, in which current students can explain directly to you their projects! Or visit our Course Archive page that contains some information on what students have done. WHY should you register? Here's what some current students say about the course: "I get to use my brain critically. I am not just absorbing material from textbooks, but am applying it at the same time." "We are learning to work in groups while simultaneously performing useful tasks for the community" "I really enjoy interactive lectures. They keep me engaged, and I definitely feel that I will apply all of these topics for the LINC project as well as in a job situation."
